LEGO Spider-Man: Ghost Rider Team-up

I am nowhere near the LEGO aficionado like my fellow admin, The Belligerent Barnes; a matter a fact I shouldn’t even step in the same room as him in relation to LEGO’s. So I come to you as an outsider and offer my review for LEGO Spider-Man: Ghost Rider Team-up set, part of the Marvel Super Hero collection.

The LEGO universe is vast, with a wide range of different genres. LEGO’s range from the simple to the elaborate design; with elaborate designs usually yielding a hefty price tag. Every once in a while, with some patience, you can find a great set, for a great price. I found this set at my local Wal-Mart for $11.99 and could not resist. I did some research and saw that the original price point for this set was $19.99; with Ebay prices going as high as $30 plus.

The set was 217 pieces and if it wasn’t for my 2 and 5 year old wanting to inspect every piece, it would have taken me less than an hour to put together. Spider-Man with his street corner display, Hobgoblin and his flowing cape perched upon his glider; each piece fits perfectly with each other. The star of this set is Ghost Rider and his motorcycle. There is so much detail with this piece, but the stand out is the flames coming of the bike and the Ghost Rider mini-figure.

LEGO did a very solid job on this set. Not only do you get 3 mini-figures with this set but you get Hobgoblin’s glider and Ghost Rider’s motorcycle. Even though this set is titled Spider-Man, I felt the attention was drawn towards the other 2 characters that were far more present and detailed. I am definitely, from now on, going to be on the look out LEGO sets to add to my overall nerd collection.

My final rating of LEGO Spider-Man: Ghost Rider Team up is 8.9 out off 10.

About The Dull Knight

My name is Steve (The Dull Knight). When I am not “adulting” helping raise 2 sassy girls or working my full time job, I am helping produce content that I love on this site and on Instagram. I am a grown man child that still collects toys, comics, and plays my video games; when I can escape the clutches of my girls wanting me to play “tea party”. I am a huge fan of Batman, Funko Pop, and Star Wars (My wallet wishes I wasn’t a fan of these). This project was started for the sheer joy of being able to continue to express my love for all things nerd related and I hope that I (we) can convey that with quality content for all you to enjoy.
